3M Damping Foil Tape 2552 is constructed of a dead soft aluminum foil constraining layer and coated with a pressure sensitive viscoelastic acrylic polymer adhesive. This construction helps control resonant vibrations to reduce structure borne noise and fatigue in metal and composite panels across a broad range of temperatures.
