This unit is much faster to install and more rigid than a magnetic base indicator holder. It is the best way to align a work pieces in 4-jaw chucks. Doesn’t tie up a tool holder like some other indicator mounts.
Mounts on any standard OXA tool post. Holds a standard dial indicator with a 2-21/4 face, lug back and 3/8 shank.
