The Simplex 7100 Series provides fully mechanical primary or auxiliary pushbutton access control by exterior combination, while allowing free egress at all times by interior thumbturn. These deadlocking latch models automatically re-lock each time the door closes.
This fully mechanical lock eliminates the material and labour expense of battery replacements with a single access-code and is programmed via the keypad without removing the lock from the door.
Often seen in commercial environments and health and education facilities, these robust mechanical digital locks are popular throughout the UK.

Please note, In line with dormakabas own advice in relation to Simplex mechanical and electronic push button locks, please note that currently these products are not to be used on fire doors. This is due to the manufacturer awaiting new EN12209 test certificates and CE marking of some components. Once we are made aware of the necessary product changes being made and the locks becoming suitable once again for installation on fire doors, we shall update this message.
